Volunteer Calendar

We are searching for Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs, First Responders, and Ham Radio Volunteers for the events listed below.   As part of the emergency medical services, you will be providing Emergency Medical Service. MS Walk – National MS Society

Volunteers are needed to staff First Aid Stations for these walks.  These are held in the morning and volunteers are done by early afternoon.  We have 2 walks to cover this year on 2 different dates.  Please see below:

  • Downtown Cleveland – Saturday 04/18/2015
  • Akron (University of Akron) – Sunday 04/19/2015

 

March of Dimes – March for Babies

Volunteers are needed to staff First Aid Stations for these walks.  These are held in the morning and volunteers are done by early afternoon.  We have 2 walks to cover this year on 2 different dates.  Please see below:

  • Wade Oval Cleveland – Sunday 04/26/2015
  • Akron (University of Akron) – Sunday 05/02/2015

 

Goodyear Career Day  – Sunday April 19th.

Volunteers are needed to staff a table at the Goodyear career day.

 

Bike MS: Buckeye Breakaway (Formerly: Pedal to the Point Ride) – August 1 and 2, 2015 – National MS Society

The Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National MS Society will be holding its MS “Buckeye Breakaway” Bike Ride. This event is a unique cycling adventure that challenges riders of all ages, levels and abilities while also raising money to end the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis (MS).  We are searching for Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs, First Responders, and Amateur Radio Operators to Volunteer for this event. As part of the emergency medical services, you will be providing Communications and/or Emergency Medical Service along the route and/or at First Aid Stations located at the rest stops.   The bike ride is from Brunswick to Ashland and back.  We will need to have approx 40 medical volunteers and 50 communications volunteers.  Visit http://p2p.neomrc.org for info and to volunteer

Bike MS: Central Ohio Challenge – July 11, 2015 – National MS Society

The Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National MS Society will be holding its MS “Central Ohio Challenge” Bike Ride. This event is a unique cycling adventure that challenges riders of all ages, levels and abilities while also raising money to end the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis (MS).  We are searching for Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs, First Responders, and Amateur Radio Operators to Volunteer for this event. As part of the emergency medical services, you will be providing Communications and/or Emergency Medical Service along the route and/or at First Aid Stations located at the rest stops.   The bike ride is a one day ride that starts and ends in Dublin (Northwest of Columbus).  We are searching for several mobile medical teams to work the event.
