We are searching for Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs, First Responders, and Ham Radio Volunteers for the events listed below.   As part of the emergency medical services, you will be providing Emergency Medical Service.

MS Walk – April 14 and 28, 2012National MS Society

Volunteers are needed to staff First Aid Stations for these walks.  These are held in the morning and volunteers are done by early afternoon.  We have 3 walks to cover this year on 2 different dates.  Please see below:

  • Downtown Cleveland – 04/14/2012
  • Akron (University of Akron) – 04/28/2012
  • Mentor  – 04/28/2012

Walkamerica – April 29 and May 5, 2012 – March of Dimes

Volunteers are needed to staff First Aid Stations for these walks.  These are held in the morning and volunteers are done by early afternoon.  We have 2 walks to cover this year on 2 different dates.  Please see below:

Boy Scout Camporee – May 11-13, 2012 – Boy Scots of America

EMT’s will be required to help support the Scouts and others in attendance.  This event goes overnight both Friday and Saturday Nights, we need volunteers around the clock.  This will take place at the Lorain County Fairgrounds in Wellington.

Cleveland Asian Festival – May 19 and 20, 2012

EMT’s will be required to help support the general public attending the Cleveland Asian Festival in downtown Cleveland. This two-day celebration highlights Asian food, culture, and performing arts. Last year over 31,000 people attending over the two day period.

Tour de Cure – June 30, 2012 – ADA

Volunteers are needed to provide mobile response vehicles for this bike tour.

Bike MS: Pedal to the Point Ride – August 4 and 5, 2012National MS Society

The Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National MS Society will be holding its MS “Pedal to the Point” Bike Ride. This event is a unique cycling adventure that challenges riders of all ages, levels and abilities while also raising money to end the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis (MS).  We are searching for Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs, First Responders, and Amateur Radio Operators to Volunteer for this event. As part of the emergency medical services, you will be providing Communications and/or Emergency Medical Service along the route and/or at First Aid Stations located at the rest stops.   The bike ride is from Brunswick to Sandusky and back.  We will need to have approx 40 medical volunteers and 50 communications volunteers.   NEW DATES THIS YEAR:  August 4th and 5th, 2012.  To volunteer for this event please fill out the form HERE.

Cleveland Kite Festival – Sept 8th & 9th

Volunteers are needed to staff the First Aid Station at the Kite Festival.  This takes place at Edgewater State Park in Cleveland, Ohio.  Hours are from approx 11 AM to approx 5 PM both days.

Step Out – Oct 6 and Oct 7, 2012 – ADA

Volunteers are needed to staff First Aid Stations for these walks.  These are held in the morning and volunteers are done by early afternoon.  We have 2 walks to cover this year on 2 different dates.  Please see below:
