Once again, Medical & Communications volunteers are needed for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Race for the Cure® (Northeast Ohio Affiliate).
DATE & TIME: Saturday, 11 September 2010 - Fire Shift “B” - 06:00 am to 12:00 noon
WHERE: Wolstein Center – Corner of Prospect Avenue & East 21st Street
MEDICAL Volunteers needed to staff two First Aid Stations (to volunteer you must hold a State License as First Responders, EMTs, Paramedics, or Nurses)
COMMUNICATIONS: Amateur Radio volunteers are needed. You will need 440 MHz (70 cm) mobile or handheld equipment.
PLEASE CONSIDER VOLUNTEERING. This is a short event, but it is a huge event too. Typically there are 30,000+ participants and spectators. We need your help to ensure a safe Race.

At the next Meeting of the NORTHEAST OHIO MEDICAL RESERVE CORPS (NEOMRC) we will be organizing the NEOMRC Medical Supplies. The date of the meeting is Thursday 07/22/2010 and will take place from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
The meeting will be held at the SOLON MEDICAL CAMPUS of SAINT VINCENT CHARITY HOSPITAL in the basement meeting room. This facility is located at 33001 Solon Road, Solon, Ohio 44139.

We will be supporting the Greater Cleveland Triathlon on August 8th.
We are searching for Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs, First Responders, and Amateur Radio Operators to Volunteer for this event. As part of the Emergency Medical Services, you will be providing Communications and/or Emergency Medical Service along the route of the Bicycle Portion of the event only.

The month of April is very busy. We have 4 walks that need to have volunteers. We require volunteers to staff the First Aid Stations along the routes.
