At the May Meeting of the NORTHEAST OHIO MEDICAL RESERVE CORPS (NEOMRC) we will be presenting a Continuing Education Lecture on ALLERGIES AND ANAPHYLAXIS. In addition this presentation we will be discussing other NEOMRC business. The date of the meeting is Thursday 05/24/2012 and will take place from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

April 9th, 2012
At the April Meeting of the NORTHEAST OHIO MEDICAL RESERVE CORPS (NEOMRC) we will be providing an American Heart Assoc Basic Life Support Refresher Class. This class will be free to all NEOMRC members who have paid their 2012 dues, if you have not, the class will cost $20 and included will be your 2012 Membership Dues.
In order to take this Refresher you need to meet the following requirements:
- RSVP that you will be attending, we need to know how many books and supplies we will need. Send me an email if you are attending.
- You MUST hold a CURRENT AHA BLS Card or equivalent American Red Cross CPR Card [Adult, Child, Infant, Professional Rescuer, etc]
- If you do not meet the requirements you will need to take the Non-Refresher Course. At this time, NEOMRC does not have one scheduled.
The date of the meeting is Thursday 04/26/2012 and will take place starting at 7:00 PM.

Medical Training
At the October Meeting of the NORTHEAST OHIO MEDICAL RESERVE CORPS (NEOMRC) we will be presenting “RUN REVIEW” By Doug Dever.
Board of Trustees Elections
In addition we will also be holding elections for one of the five Board of Trustees Positions for NEOMRC. NEOMRC is a 501(c)3, not-for-profit corporation is governed by five trustees who fill the positions required in our articles of incorporation. Each trustee is elected from the membership of NEOMRC. This year the trustee position held by T.J. Powell are up for election. Elections will be held at the October membership meeting. Between now and the election is a period of open nominations. If you’d like to nominate someone, please e-mail Judy Zeitler at jzeitler@neomrc.org
To be eligible to be a trustee: You must be a member in good standing of NEOMRC for a period of no less than 2 years.
To be eligible to vote: You must be a member in good standing of NEOMRC. (Read: You must have paid your dues.)

The August Membership Meeting for NEOMRC will be held on a special night and cover a special topic.
The date of the meeting is Thursday August 4th at 7:00 PM. This meeting will be held at SOLON MEDICAL CAMPUS of SAINT VINCENT CHARITY HOSPITAL in the Basement Meeting Room. This facility is located at 33001 Solon Road, Solon, Ohio 44139.
The meeting will be Medical Support Logistics and Protocol Safety Training for the Bike MS Pedal to the Point Ride 2011.
All medical volunteers for the event are highly encouraged to attend this meeting. If you are a volunteer and cannot attend please contact T.J. Powell and we will make other arrangements.. The meeting will include a review of the medical protocols and the basic logistics for the event. Please bring one (1) photocopy of all of your certification cards to this meeting or have your original certifications available for verification (if photocopies cannot legally be obtained).
Ham Radio volunteers need not attend this meeting. Jeff Garvas will be in touch with you concerning the logistics of the event.

At the January Meeting of the NORTHEAST OHIO MEDICAL RESPONSE CORPS (NEOMRC) we will be doing the following:
- Organizing supplies for te upcoming year
- Taking photos for new NEOMRC ID Badges. Everyone will be issued a new ID Badge even if hey already have one. Please plan on attending to have your photo taken.
- Paying Dues. Also a reminder that the 2011 Annual Dues are now due to be paid. Please bring it to the meeting. If you cannot make the meeting you can click the DONATE button on the website and pay them that way.
- Plus we will be discussing other NEOMRC business.
