At the October Meeting of the NORTHEAST OHIO MEDICAL RESERVE CORPS (NEOMRC) we will be presenting “Pediatric Trauma “. In addition this presentation we will be discussing other NEOMRC business. The date of the meeting is Thursday 10/22/2009 and will take place from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
After the training we will also be electing two Trustees for NEOMRC at the Meeting. The terms for Jerry Fioretti and Judy Zeitler expire on 12/31/2009. We will be accepting nominations at the meeting and voting. We have already nominated Judy Zeitler and Doug Dever. Top vote you must be a member in good standing (must have paid dues for 2009).

At the September Meeting of the NORTHEAST OHIO MEDICAL RESERVE CORPS (NEOMRC) we will be presenting “Run Review” and this will focus on the Bike MS Pedal to the Point Ride (National MS Society). National Disaster Medical System by James Vorell of the VA Medical Center. In addition this presentation we will be discussing other NEOMRC business and upcoming Volunteer Events and Needs. The date of the meeting is Thursday 09/24/2009 and will take place from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The August Membership Meeting for NEOMRC will be held on a special night and cover a special topic.
The date of the meeting is Thursday August 6th (2009) at 7:00 PM. This meeting will be held at SOLON MEDICAL CAMPUS of SAINT VINCENT CHARITY HOSPITAL in the Basement Meeting Room. This facility is located at 33001 Solon Road, Solon, Ohio 44139.
The meeting will be Medical Support Logistics and Protocol Safety Training for the Bike MS Pedal to the Point Ride 2009.
All medical volunteers for the event are highly encouraged to attend this meeting. If you are a volunteer and cannot attend please contact T.J. Powell and we will make other arrangements.. The meeting will include a review of the medical protocols and the basic logistics for the event. Please bring three (3) photocopies of all of your certification cards to this meeting or have your original certifications available for verification (if photocopies cannot legally be obtained).
Ham Radio volunteers need not attend this meeting. Jeff Garvas will be in touch with you concerning the logistics of the event.

At the April Meeting of the NORTHEAST OHIO MEDICAL RESERVE CORPS (NEOMRC) we will be providing an American Heart Assoc Basic Life Support Refresher Class. This class will be free to all NEOMRC members who have paid their 2009 dues, if you have not current, the class will cost $20 and included will be your 2009 Membership Dues.
